Originally named and described by James Farlow and others in 1989 in the USA. Also found in Korea and Portugal.
Australian use and location
Broome region WA (Thulborn 1994, 2012).
Description
These sauropod footprints are similar to ones found elsewhere in the world. Typical size is 45cm to 1.5m long. In Australia research is ongoing to see how many different types can be distinguished. Several have been assigned names already, but it is suggested that some will belong to this ichnogenus.
