Australian Age of Dinosaurs and its affiliates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at Australian Age of Dinosaurs you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future Australian Age of Dinosaurs service or visit or purchase from any business affiliated with Australian Age of Dinosaurs, whether or not included in the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Web site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or business.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
When you visit Australian Age of Dinosaurs or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

YOUR ACCOUNT
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Australian Age of Dinosaurs does sell products for children, but it sells them to adults, who can purchase with a credit card. If you are under 18, you may use Australian Age of Dinosaurs only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Australian Age of Dinosaurs and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

RISK OF LOSS
All items purchased from Australian Age of Dinosaurs are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
Australian Age of Dinosaurs and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Australian Age of Dinosaurs does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Australian Age of Dinosaurs itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

APPLICABLE LAW
By visiting Australian Age of Dinosaurs, you agree that the laws of Australia, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Australian Age of Dinosaurs or its affiliates.

DISPUTES
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Australian Age of Dinosaurs or to products you purchase through Australian Age of Dinosaurs shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Australia, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Australian Age of Dinosaurs' intellectual property rights, Australian Age of Dinosaurs may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any court in Australian Age of Dinosaurs, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of an independent arbitrator. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY
Please review our other policies, posted on this site. These policies also govern your visit to Australian Age of Dinosaurs. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

GIFT CARD TERMS AND LIMITS 

Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees and are only redeemable online. Purchased gift cards can be used to purchase any products advertised as available on the online Museum Shop. If a product becomes unavailable the amount spent will be transffered back to your gift card. 

In accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) each Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum Shop gift cards are valid for three years. 

1. Gift Card Terms. Gift cards sold through the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum Shop are:

(i) not reloadable;

(ii) not redeemable for cash;

(iii) to be saved and printed when emailed to you as this is your record of the cards three-year card expiration date; and

(iv) single-use and closed-loop (ie the Gift Card may only be used via the Museum's online shop for purchase of goods and services from the Museum and no other merchant or company).

2. Limits. The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum Shop gift card must not exceed a denomination greater than $9,999 AUD. 

In accordance with the ACCC
If the Museum changes owners, the new owner must honour existing gift cards and vouchers if the Museum was:
  • sold as a ‘going concern’. That is, the assets and liabilities of the business were sold by the previous owner to the new owner
  • owned by a company rather than an individual, and the new owner purchased the shares in the company.
Insolvency If the company operating the Museum becomes insolvent, you become an ‘unsecured creditor’ of the company.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Our online service and pricing policy is designed to make your buying experience as simple and convenient as possible. However, if you are purchasing for international shipment (to be delivered outside Australia) please be aware of the following:

CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES
Orders shipped to countries outside of Australia may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees").  You may be subject to import duties and taxes levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us so we do not share information about your order unless necessary. If you are shipping our products to destinations outside Australia please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the item directly on the package.

LIMITATIONS
For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labelling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards (requiring use of an adapter or converter if appropriate). You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Australian Age of Dinosaurs, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

TICKETS AND EXPERIENCES

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: TICKETS
• These terms and conditions apply to all tickets purchased from the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum (the Museum)
whether in person, by telephone or online.
• This ticket is not refundable, not transferable and cannot be used with other discounts/ promotions.
• All prices quoted are in Australian dollars and with Goods and Services Tax (GST) applied when applicable.
• To ensure you have plenty of time to check in to your tour, you are required to arrive 15 minutes before the start of your
first tour.
• Please be aware that all fees are subject to change.
• You must present your valid ticket(s) at the Museum Reception Centre for check in.
• Tickets may only be used once unless specified for multiple entry.
• Dated tickets are only valid on the nominated date.
• If you have purchased a family or other group ticket please ensure your group is assembled to enable entry as a group.
• If you have purchased a concession ticket please present appropriate government issued identification on entry to the
Museum. Valid identification cards, include:
- Seniors card-holders (all states)
- International seniors aged over 60 years
- International student card-holders
- Australian student card-holders
- Australian veterans' affairs gold card-holder
• If ticketholders arrive late, they will be admitted only at the Museum’s discretion.
• Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Museum, to be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including
via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competition and trade
promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or subsequent bearer. If a
ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may
be refused admission.

• Payment terms (wholesale and group companies only)
Tax invoice (you must fill out a credit application for this option) and payment is required 30 days from the tax invoice being issued.
Wholesale and group companies without a credit account with the Museum must pay the full amount of their tour at least 14 days before travel.

Final tour PAX will be confirmed one week before your arrival and for catering purposes, final numbers and any dietary requirements must be confirmed two weeks prior to arrival.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Dig-A-Dino and Prep-A-Dino experiences

MEDICAL AND EMERGENCY INFORMATION 
- Doctor’s Certificate: If you have an existing medical condition that, if aggravated by manual work may be life threatening
such as heart or lung problems, serious back problems etc, you must submit a doctor’s certificate that states you are fit for
work.
- Allergies. It is important that the staff know of any allergies and the treatment thereof in case of an incident.
- Asthma: As fire is used to heat the accommodation water supply causing local smoke which can be an issue for
asthmatics. Even if you are only slightly asthmatic, it needs to be noted so that the smoke issue can be monitored. The dry
dusty conditions of the outback can also bring on an asthma attack so please carry your medication at all times.
- Special Dietary needs: If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know and we will do our best to cater
for them.
- Emergency Contact: The emergency contact is the person we will call should you have an accident or need medical
assistance. The contact number/numbers should be the most likely ones for your contact person to answer at any time.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION 
- Volunteer and Public Liability Insurance: From departure from Winton on day one of the dig to when you arrive back in
Winton on day seven, you will be covered by the Museum Volunteer Insurance Policy. Please note: Participants over 80 years
of age are not covered by this policy. We recommend you have your own private insurance before applying.
- Intellectual Property: Photographic, video, audio and digital recordings of participants may be used to publicise Museum
programs and other media representatives may be present at times. If you have concerns regarding this, or wish to be
excluded from all imagery, please advise us.
- Participants are permitted to take photos and / or recordings of their experience, however these are for personal use
only; no imagery taken at the dig is to be published or shown publicly without the consent of
Museum Management.


ACKNOWLDGEMENTS 
As an Australian Age of Dinosaurs dig participant, you will be asked to undertake different tasks and activities during the
course of the dig, some of which will have specific safety regulations attached. Noncompliance with Dig-A-Dino related work
health and safety requirements, whether intentionally or otherwise, may be investigated by the WHS Officer which may lead to
a warning or being evicted from the site. If you are concerned and/or have any reservations about the safety aspect of tasks
you are asked to carry out, please bring this to the attention of a Museum staff member or the dig supervisor. It is our intention
to ensure that your work environment is safe.


AGE RESTRICTIONS 
To take part in the Dig-A-Dino experience, a participant must be 18 years old or over.


DEPOSIT
When your application has been approved, a deposit of $500 is required upon registration to secure your position. This deposit
is non-refundable. A final payment invoice will be sent out 30 days prior to the week 1 dig date on which to pay the remaining
amount. If the participant is unable to attend the dig after the deposit is paid, the deposit is retained by AAOD but remains valid
for use by the digger for the next two years following the original scheduled dig. Note: An unused deposit is only carried
through if the Museum is notified of the cancellation three weeks before the first scheduled dig. Australian Age of Dinosaurs
reserves the right to refuse an application. Where an applicant is refused a position, all money's paid will be refunded.


CANCELLATION FEES 
30 days’ notice - no charges apply
14 days’ notice - 50% of full tour cost per person
7 days’ notice - 100% of tour cost per person
Sometimes things just go wrong. While cancellation fees do apply every booking is assessed case-by-case.
