The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum is home to the largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils in the world. The Museum is split between three facilities, the Fossil Preparation Laboratory, Collection Room and Dinosaur Canyon.
Museum Trading hours
Open six days a week in summer (1 December to 31 March)
Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm (Closed Sundays)
Tours depart on the hour: 8am, 9am, 10am and 2pm* and run for 3 hours.
Open seven days a week in winter (1 April to 30 November)
Monday to Sunday, 8am to 5pm
Tours depart on the hour: 8am, 9am, 10am and 2pm* and run for 3 hours.
*Arrive 15 minutes before the tour commences.

Christmas opening hours
- Closed 24 to 28 December 2021.
- Open 29 to 31 December 2021, normal trading hours apply.
- Closed 1 to 2 January 2022.
- Normal trading hours resume from 3 January 2022.

Ultimate Dinosaur tour
The Ultimate Dinosaur tour includes a guided tour of the Collection Room, Fossil Preparation Laboratory and Dinosaur Canyon. From 10 May 2021 the tour will be expanded to include a guided tour of the March of the Titanosaurs exhibition. Duration: 3 to 4 hours.
Winton Dinosaur Capital of Australia VIP pass
This combination pass includes admission and guided tour of the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum (Ultimate Dinosaur tour) and Dinosaur Stampede National Monument at Lark Quarry Conservation Park. Duration: Recommended over two days.
